Video calling & conferencing
Video calling app development, engineered for real-time reliability
Finashtech designs and builds custom video calling apps and video conferencing software — from one-to-one consultations to multi-party meetings with screen sharing, recording and transcripts.
We built the same capabilities into TeamCollab, our own collaboration platform, so we know exactly where real-time video gets hard: unstable networks, corporate firewalls, scaling past a handful of participants, and keeping every conversation private.
Custom video call apps for web, iOS and Android
Whether video is your whole product or one feature inside it, we build the call experience around your users — not around a generic template.
One-to-one & group video calls
Low-latency calls for two people or for whole teams, with adaptive quality that keeps the conversation going when bandwidth drops.
In-app video calling
Add video calls inside the product you already have — a marketplace, CRM, banking or support app — so users never have to leave it.
Screen sharing & collaboration
Share a screen or a single window, present documents and walk clients through work without switching tools.
Recording & transcripts
Cloud recording with automatically generated, searchable transcripts — the same feature set TeamCollab users rely on.
Scheduling, invites & waiting rooms
Calendar-friendly meeting links, lobby control and host permissions, so the right people join at the right time.
Chat, reactions & file sharing
In-call messaging and file exchange that stays attached to the meeting record for later review.
Video conferencing software that scales
Peer-to-peer WebRTC is ideal for one-to-one calls, but group meetings need a media server. We design the topology around your use case instead of forcing one pattern on every product.
WebRTC at the core
Open, browser-native real-time media for web and mobile, with signalling over secure WebSockets.
SFU media servers for group calls
A Selective Forwarding Unit routes each participant's stream efficiently, so meetings grow without every device doing all the work.
STUN / TURN connectivity
Relay servers make calls connect behind strict corporate firewalls and mobile carrier NAT — where many video apps quietly fail.
Simulcast & adaptive bitrate
Each viewer receives the quality their connection can handle, keeping video smooth on weak networks.
Call-quality monitoring
Packet loss, jitter and round-trip time tracked per call, so problems are visible before users report them.
Private and secure by design
We come from fintech, where security is not optional. Every video product we build gets the same discipline.
Encrypted media by default
WebRTC encrypts audio and video in transit with DTLS-SRTP; we add end-to-end encryption (E2EE) options for the most sensitive conversations.
Access control
Role-based permissions, meeting passcodes, lobby approval and host controls for who can join, share and record.
Recording governance
Consent prompts, retention policies and restricted access to recordings and transcripts, with audit logs of who viewed what.
Where custom video calling fits
Off-the-shelf meeting tools are built for everyone. A custom video calling app is built for your workflow.
Telehealth video consultation software
Doctor–patient consultations with appointment links, waiting rooms and consent capture, built around your compliance requirements.
Video KYC & advisor calls for fintech
Face-to-face onboarding and advisory calls for banks, lenders and wealth platforms — connected to your KYC flow.
Customer support & sales
Escalate a chat to a video call in one click, with the conversation history already on screen.
Education, coaching & internal teams
Live classes, one-to-one coaching and team meetings with recordings that people can return to.
Proof, not promises
Proof in our own product: TeamCollab
TeamCollab — the project and client-collaboration platform we build and run — includes video and audio meetings with recordings and transcripts, alongside project boards and client onboarding. The engineering lessons from TeamCollab go into every calling product we build for clients.

How we deliver your project
Discovery & call-flow design
We map who calls whom, on which devices, how often and with what privacy needs — then agree on scope, platforms and a milestone plan.
Architecture & first working call
We pick the right topology (peer-to-peer, SFU or a managed SDK) and get a real call running early, so decisions are tested, not guessed.
Build & test on real networks
Features are built in sprints and tested on weak Wi-Fi, mobile data and strict firewalls — the conditions your users actually have.
Launch, monitor & scale
We deploy, watch call-quality metrics and capacity, and stay on to support and extend the product after go-live.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to build a video calling app?
It depends on platforms (web, iOS, Android), whether you need group calls, recording or transcripts, and expected usage. After a short discovery call we share a clear estimate and milestone plan — tell us about your use case through the contact form.
How long does video calling app development take?
A focused first version — for example one-to-one video calls in a web app — can be delivered in a few weeks. Multi-platform apps with group calls, recording and transcripts take longer. You get a milestone plan up front and visibility into progress throughout.
Should we use a video SDK or build directly on WebRTC?
Managed video SDKs are faster to launch but add per-minute costs and vendor lock-in; building on open WebRTC with your own media servers costs more up front but gives you full control at scale. We explain the trade-offs for your situation and can start with one and migrate later.
Can you add video calling to our existing app?
Yes. In-app video calling is one of the most common requests — we integrate calls into your current web or mobile app, reusing your existing user accounts, permissions and design.
Are the video calls secure and encrypted?
WebRTC media is encrypted in transit with DTLS-SRTP by default. For sensitive conversations we add end-to-end encryption options, plus access control, meeting passcodes and governed access to recordings.
Can calls be recorded and transcribed?
Yes — cloud recording with automatic transcripts, the same capability TeamCollab offers. We also build in consent prompts and retention rules so recording fits your policies.
How many participants can one call support?
That depends on the architecture. Peer-to-peer suits small calls; with an SFU media server, group meetings scale much further. We size the infrastructure for your expected load and test it before launch.
